As a producer of technical textiles, we disposes today of a performant capacity in either needle loom and shuttle loom technique.
Besides modern creels and special winding up equipment we offer facilities to treat fabric directly on the loom like thermofixation or powder coating units.
Our broad stock of raw materials covers nearly all weavable materials from synthetic yarns - as mono- or multifilament or spun fiber - to reinforcement fibres like carbon, aramid, glass and Dyneema and to stainless steel wire and special blends in spun fiber.
With this background, we develop narrow woven fabrics that fulfil exact requirements and meet varied demands in technical applications.
We see ourselves as competent partners in the area of woven narrow fabrics which we often develop and produce for the individual application.
In addition to the modern needle loom technology we also have an important capacity in shuttle loom production. This technique also allows us to weave tapes with equal selvedges and the same thickness across the whole width.
Only shuttle loom weaving produces a tubular fabric with the same surface characteristics around the whole circumference.
Apart from seamless tubular textiles for liquid filtration purposes, Vom Baur now produces support and heat-shrinkable sleeves as well as belts and double pad tapes for the fabrication of filtration textiles. We also produce and refine contemporary fibreglass textiles as filter elements for breathing masks.

Needlefelts made from all kind of synthetic fibres. Roll goods, cuts, plates, punched or ready-made articles. Products from 150 up to 5.000 g/m² and up to 500 cm wide, thickness from 0,4 up to 25,0 mm. Products for various applications: automotive industry, metal industry, protective clothing and heat protection, footwear industry, needlefelts for textile flooring as well as for the conversion in various industries.
